Now I am not a huge fan of pictures of myself but when it comes to family I will occasionally be the photographer and the subject. Some of the pictures are a little crazy because I had to set a timer and run.

So I wanted to post a few of my first fun tricks with photoshop...I realize now that my first, and really, my favorite effect is doing partial color pictures. So here are some of the very first pictures I edited. Now the one that is in full color you will notice that the reflection doesn't match the picture...I thought it was a really cool effect to have the reflection...reflective figuratively instead of literally.

My Beginings Part 2: Mommy's New Toy

So around mid October my early birthday present came via ups. A Nikon 40DX! I did an immediate photo shoot with my little muse. I was in love with the picture quality and the fast shutter speed. I could finally get the pictures that I wanted.
